Sano Sansar: Waiting!
There’s new Nepali Movie, Sano Sansar which i am desperately waiting. There are very few Nepali movies that are worth to watch. Otherwise majority of them are bakwas and torturous and copy paste of Indian Cinema. (Wonder when we learn to make our own creative movie).

The debate could go on and on why we fail to make original good movie. The involved professional blames low finance and constraint market. Whatever arguments are, we all agree most of the Nepali movies don’t keep the standard. Last Nepali movie i watched was most hyped Kagbeni. After i watched it, i got confused. Is it more like movie or documentary? But i must agree, technically it was better than other general movies but still there were lots of hitches there.
And now Sano Sansar is coming up. The director, Alok Nembang, is acclaimed music video maker who holds academic degree and experience of film making. So i am really hoping this movie would be very good. The trailers look good and in fact, they look very sweet. So this is on the list of my MUST WATCH movie:
As many claim ” Sano Sansar” will surely paveway for new concepts in a hindi- film idolized Nepali film faternity but still after the disspointment many Nepali movie watchers had after Kagbeni , It’s not that good to raise stake for a film yet to be released !!! Anyways expectation bring dissapointment but let’s hope Sano sansar is up to the rank !!! lets hope this musical love story breaks stereotypes !!!
Sorry to dissapoint you, but dude, sano sansar is just a copy of ugly aur pagli, which also is a copy of my sassy girl !!!! The only thing worth watching would be the cinematography which is simply awesome in the theatricals.
What!! its a copy of My Sassy Girl!!Then rabin u will surely like it…although the english version of my sassy girl sucked…I havnt watched the hindi version..but I am guessing the nepali version will suck as well..I dont know if i should go to watch it..
It’s not a 100% rip-off, but it seems to be inspired rather heavily by it. The first few minutes (the intros and all) are ditto copy (obviously with nepali modification, we don’t have subways). The basic idea is same behind both the movies, dominating girl and the not so confident boy and how they meet at last.
Hey anything besides Nikhil Uprety’s meaningless jumps, Dilip Rayamajhi’s dance and those hurtful movie songs.
To be honest I have never watched a Nepali Movie except “Chino” and I don’t remember a thing. ( I was 5yrs old then or less)
What we watched, “Kagbeni and “Sano Sansar” are path setter for Nepali Movies. The story may be taken from somewhere else but they certainly are worth watching. Nepali movie is evolving. we cannot expect or let me put it this way that we shouldn’t expect high quality graphics, acting, Stunts etc like hollywood. Nepali Movies still has some cons and it’ll gradually correct it self. all it needs is time and some good Crew.
This Movie will certainly be a Path setter after “Kagbeni”.
Never the less a very good try and i think we’ll see more good movies ahead.
